Our Classes
Class space is limited and classes fill up quickly. We will provide you with a list of materials or the actual pattern before the class starts. Except in the case of a class that specifies hand work, you will need to bring your sewing machine. Since larger items such as cutting mats are sometimes difficult to carry, we can provide access to one but suggest that you bring your own rulers and rotary cutters. If you are a beginner quilter, please let us know so that we can make sure we put together tools for you to borrow!
A deposit of at least 50% per class is required at time of registration. For classes that have a book/pattern included the full fee must be paid before receiving the book/pattern. Class fees are non refundable and non transferrable unless the class is canceled by MarketPlace Quilts or five (5) days notice is received for student cancellation. We need advance notice so that we can call students on the waiting list to fill that space.

Log Cabin Quilt Thursday Nov. 19 Dec. 3, 10, 17 Jan. 7, 14 (6:30-9:30pm) $125.00
Have you always wanted to learn to quilt? This is the class for you. The traditional log cabin quilt is one
of my favorites. The perfect project to learn how to piece, baste, quilt and bind. You will finish a 12
block quilt in time to keep yourself or someone special warm over the cold winter nights. (Book

Join us for a great Sunday afternoon class. Jennifer will be teaching us how to make our own wallets. I
have a feeling there will be many made for holiday gift giving. So sit the fella in front of the TV and come
join the fun.
Sunday Banner Sunday, Nov. 29 (12-4pm) $25.00 Includes pattern
Join us for a fun Sunday of sewing. We will create a monthly wall hanging using both piecing and
machine appliqué techniques. We will be making a banner for Dec... This class will be offered on a
monthly basis. Come see the shop sample! Kits are available.
The Quilted Purse Sunday, Dec.6 (1-5:00pm) or Saturday, Jan.16 (10-2:00pm) $40.00
Join us in making a beautiful bag that your friends will envy. Depending on your fabric choices you can
make one to fit all of your fashion needs. The bag designer will be here to show us how. Class price
includes pattern and handle.

Back by popular demand! Sewing certainly make us happy. This pattern is fat quarter friendly. It would
look great in many color ways. Machine appliqué will be used. Button embellishments make it a cute

Join Jennifer in a four week session learning basic sewing while making a project of your choice. Tote
bags, apron and clothing projects make great projects
Pizza Night Friday Jan. 29 (7-10pm) $30.00 pattern included ( this is a new date due to scheduling conflict.)
Organize your quilting tools in a pouch that we will make using three fat quarters. Enjoy good food and
the company of other quilters. I use this all the time. Great for transporting tools to class.
Afternoon Tea Apron Sunday Jan.10 (12-5pm) $35.00 pattern included
A pretty apron to make for yourself or a gift. An Indigo Junction pattern leads the way.

fabrics we carry in the shop. This will be a fun full day workshop with Lin.

Join Gretchen for three Fridays to make a beautiful hexagon runner. We will be using Marti Mitchell

This is a class for those who want to paper piece. We will be making a North Star Mini Quilt. Great for
the person who wants to learn and those who already know how.
Sand Castles Feb.. 25, March 4, 11, 18, 25 (7-9:00pm) $70.00 includes pattern
Let’s think warm weather and build sand castles. No shovels required. This is a wonderful quilt. It is quite
versatile. “Go soft and subtle or beautifully bold” It is your choice.

Enjoyed by all who want to work on their own projects. This is self directed time in the classroom.
Some assistance is available. Stitch-n-studio is not a beginner class.
Children’s Class
Sew What Kids Friday Dec.. 4, 11, 18 (3:30-5:30) $70.00/session
Join us in the classroom to have fun while learning to sew. This is for the child who is interested in
learning to use a sewing machine. We will be creating wonderful projects while developing a child who
feels comfortable using the sewing machine and sewing tools. This will be an on- going class offered at
four week sessions (Dec.. session will be three weeks -$55.00). Projects will be based on the children’s’
abilities. Come have fun meeting others in a creative environment. 8 years old and up.
